Haley – 15.3h of Quiet Confidence (OTTB)

Some horses walk into the barn and immediately lower everyone’s blood pressure.
Haley is that horse.

This adorable 15.3h (on a generous measuring day) OTTB mare is calm, quiet, and easygoing. She is polite on the ground, stands beautifully for everything, and carries herself like she already knows she’s a good citizen.

She has not yet been restarted under saddle, but given her temperament, we anticipate a smooth and straightforward transition into her next career, and our veterinarians agree.

Haley does have a small bone chip from her racing days. We have clean, current radiographs on file. Our veterinarians do not recommend surgical removal and have cleared her to move forward into training. We are excited to see her progress through our program as the weather improves and we are able to get more consistent work on her.

In the meantime, she would make a lovely companion horse and has the quiet, steady demeanor that could make her a wonderful therapy candidate.
